Six Things Hearthline Does Well
Sourced Information, Not Opinions
Everything said in a Hearthline session is drawn from a publicly available source, which is named. You leave with a reference sheet, not just notes.
Everything in Writing
Meeting summaries, agreed next steps, and referral lists are all produced in writing and given to you. We do not expect you to take notes or rely on memory.
Your Data Does Not Stay With Us
Scanned documents in the archive service are placed on an encrypted drive you keep. We retain no copies of your household records.
Referrals Written, Not Verbal
When something is outside what Hearthline can handle, we say so in writing and name the appropriate body and its own contact channel — so you can reach the right place independently.
Bring Who You Need
Any appointment can include a family member, friend, or support person. This is not an exception — it is built into how every session is offered.
No Pressure, No Urgency
Sessions move at whatever pace is right for the family. We do not create urgency, and we do not push families toward faster decisions to clear our schedule.
In detail
How Each Benefit Works in Practice
Administrative Experience, Not Regulated Practice
The Hearthline team has a combined background in records management, community facilitation, and clerical support spanning over twenty years. That experience is what the sessions draw on. It is not a substitute for legal or financial expertise — and we say so clearly, every time.
What it means in practice: the information evenings are accurate, sourced, and readable. The archive service is systematic and thorough. The transition support plan keeps the administrative side of a household change moving without creating extra pressure on the family.
A Filing System That Works for the Next Twenty Years
The family archive service produces a bound chronological index, an encrypted drive, and a contacts directory for every issuing body whose documents appear in the archive. The short narrative — dictated by you — means that a future reader of the archive knows the context for every document, not just the document itself.
Families who have gone through the archive service tell us that the contacts directory alone saves them significant time the next time they need to deal with any of those bodies.
Facilitation That Keeps the Room Working
The monthly meetings in the household transition support plan are facilitated, not chaired. The coordinator keeps the conversation on the administrative agenda, produces a written summary at the end, and makes sure the next steps are clearly assigned before the meeting closes.
Families working through significant household changes — bereavements, care arrangements, separations — often find that having a neutral facilitator managing the paperwork meeting frees up other conversations to happen at a different time and in a different setting.
Transparent, Fixed Pricing
All three services are priced as listed on this site. Any variation to scope — additional archive appointments, extended support — is agreed in writing before it happens. You will not receive an invoice for work not agreed in advance.
- Family Information Evening: RM 470 per attendee
- Written Records for the Family Archive: RM 1,320 per engagement
- Household Transition Support Plan: RM 4,600 for six months
What Families Take Away
At the end of any Hearthline engagement, the family has something tangible: a printed reference sheet, a bound archive, or a set of written meeting summaries. These are working documents, not keepsakes.
We measure the usefulness of what we do by whether a family can pick up those documents six months later and still know exactly where everything stands and where to go for anything further.
How we compare
Hearthline Alongside Other Options
Many families in Malaysia turn to several different sources when looking for help with household administration. The table below is not a criticism of those sources — it is an honest account of what each one typically offers and where Hearthline fits.

| Written summaries after every meeting | ~ | ||
| Bound document archive produced | |||

What sets us apart
Features You Will Not Find Described This Way Elsewhere
The "What We Don't Do" Section
Every Hearthline page and every session includes a clear, prominently placed description of what falls outside our scope. Most administrative services describe what they offer. We describe both — because an honest limit is more useful to a family than an expanded claim.
The Bring-Someone Note
An invitation to bring a support person appears wherever a service involves a conversation — at the point of enquiry, in the confirmation, and at the start of every appointment. It is not a courtesy; it is a structural part of how we work.
A Named Coordinator, Not a Helpdesk
The household transition support plan assigns a named coordinator for the full six months. The same person attends every meeting, writes every summary, and manages every document consolidation. No handovers, no introducing yourself twice.
Fixed Scope, Variable Pace
Each service has a defined scope. What varies is the pace at which it proceeds. A family going through a bereavement and an archive service simultaneously can slow the archive appointments down without any penalty or renegotiation.
